Beekeeping: Tools of the Trade

Beekeeping ToolsThe initial equipment I bought online were:

Beehive
two (2) set complete with bottom board, frames and hive cover

Beekeeper's Smoker
Made of stainless steel. The smoke calms the bees & prevent violent stinging.

Beehive tool
Also made of stainless steel. The hive tools is used to pry the frames of the beehive.

Beekeepers Bee Veil
Made of netting material to protect the face from accidental sting by honeybees

Honey Extractor
For harvest facilities, I bought a set of honey extractor and a uncapping fork. The honey extractor makes it possible to extract the honey in a clean and clear unadulterated manner.

The above list of beekeeping equipment will kick start you toward an exciting adventure with the honeybees...
